Position: Oracle Student Financial Planning Consultant (100% Remote)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12+ months

Job Description.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Student Financial Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Oracle Student Financial Planning module, ensuring its seamless integration within our institution's student information system.
Your expertise will play a pivotal role in facilitating financial aid processes, streamlining scholarship management, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in higher education financial aid processes, extensive knowledge of Oracle Student Financial Planning, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
Implement and configure the Oracle Student Financial Planning module to meet institutional requirements and standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including financial aid officers, admissions, and IT staff, to understand business needs and translate them into system configurations and enhancements.

Manage and maintain financial aid packaging processes within the Oracle system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Develop and maintain reports, queries, and data extracts to support financial aid analysis and reporting requirements.

Monitor system performance and resolve any issues related to financial aid processing promptly.

Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Stay up to date with Oracle Student Financial Planning updates, releases, and industry best practices.

Provide end-user training and support for financial aid staff on system functionalities and processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Student Financial Planning with other institutional systems and ensure seamless data flow.

Work with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Student Financial Planning.

Analyze financial aid policies and regulations to ensure compliance and suggest process improvements.

Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong understanding of financial aid processes, federal and state regulations, and best practices.

In-depth knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, specifically the Student Financial Planning module.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Experience in configuring and maintaining scholarship management functionalities within Oracle Student Financial Planning (preferred).

Knowledge of Oracle Student Cloud Financial Planning and Oracle Cloud implementation experience (preferred).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
