Performs difficult advanced technical work providing leadership and expertise in maintaining, securing, and protecting the County s Oracle and ERP platforms; which includes providing optimum design, development, deployment of new Oracle ERP platform modifications. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Accountant Manager.

  • Serve as the County s first point of contact for all County related activities associated with Oracle ERP applications and the Cloud.

  • Update and implement user security and roles within Oracle ERP Cloud Security system based on functional documents provided by the project team. Add and manage users and provision roles and data access sets based on organization-defined data security policies and user role matrix defined by the business responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Oracle ERP applications, performance, architecture, reliability, integrity, and recoverability.

  • Develop custom roles by tailoring Oracle seeded roles as per the business requirements.

  • Review and audit end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Align segregation of duties and security profiles. Responsible for managing all County owned Oracle ERP accounts and subscriptions.

  • Displays an understanding of SDLC, Deployment Methodologies and Application Server Life Cycle Management.

  • Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA s) with the business stakeholders, monitoring and reporting on those service levels, and escalating problems and issues when service levels are not being met.

  • Perform all required system maintenance of the ERPO system. Views and monitors service detail and service notifications related to the patching/critical updates/downtime of the ERP system.

  • Must be prepared to troubleshoot using Incidents, Logs, Quick Trace, and Diagnostic Tests and other available software tools.

  • Export metric data for required service of the County s Oracle ERP system. Views account usage data and provides all necessary or required reports.

  • Responsible for developing ERP KPIs and Metrics Reports and Dashboards using PowerBI.

  • Manage all Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Cloud operations to coordinate and complete any and all Administration tasks. This includes working with internal staff, third party vendors and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh maintenance schedules, and notify users of any outages.

  • Communicates system performance metrics and works with internal staff and third-party vendors to resolve any issues that arise involving the Oracle ERP applications performance and architecture.

  • Responsible for managing the Oracle ERP Environments (Sandbox to Production) SDLC.

  • Oversees the Enterprise Manager Cloud Control function for the County.

  • Responsible for securing, managing, and monitoring Oracle Fusion Applications Environment and Enterprise Scheduler Service and Jobs.

  • Responsible for managing searches, backup, and recovery in the Oracle Fusion Applications.

  • Troubleshoot and tune All Layers of Fusion Framework Applications Tier, Middle Tier & Identity Management, WebCenter Portals & Reports.

  • Performs other duties and activities as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, business administration, accounting, or related field, and three years of related experience, such as, business process software, developing processes and solutions, account management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. ERP Administration Experience, Oracle Cloud ERP Administration, or Web or Cloud based experience is preferred.


Special Requirements

Must be able to pass a background investigation.

HIPAA certification required within six months of employment.

A valid driver s license or evidence of equivalent mobility is required upon hire.
