Oracle HCM Test Consultant
We are looking for a skilled Oracle HCM Test Consultant to join our project team and play a critical role in the successful implementation and support of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing Oracle HCM modules and a strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Design:
    • Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and functional specifications.
    • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, Time Reporting and Payroll)
    • Define test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria.
  • Test Execution:
    • Execute test cases for various Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, Time Reporting and Payroll)
    • Perform system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
    • Document and analyze test results, ensuring that all test defects are logged and tracked to resolution.
  • Defect Management:
    • Identify, document, and prioritize defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
    • Perform root cause analysis for defects and provide detailed reports.
  • Automation and Tools:
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Oracle Test Manager.
    • Utilize test management tools (e.g., Client ALM, JIRA) for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
    • Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure adherence to testing best practices and methodologies.
    • Review and provide feedback on project documentation, including functional requirements and design specifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle HCM testing.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, Time Reporting and Payroll)
    • Proficiency in test management and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestRail, Oracle Test Manager).
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications:
    • Oracle HCM Cloud certification.
    • ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
  • Additional Experience:
    • Experience with cloud-based HCM solutions.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    • Experience with release management process for Oracle clous HCM application
  • Work Environment:
    • Flexible working hours may be needed to accommodate project timelines.
