Description
Data warehouse database and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process redesign and implementation.
Duties
- Design and implement an Enterprise Data Warehouse solution using the Kimball methodology of data warehouse Star schema and dimensional data modelling.
- Implement and maintain Fine Grain Access Control Audit (FGACA) and Oracle Virtual Private Database (VPD) to protect Health Care data such as Medicaid, Pharmacy, and HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Guide the ETL team in shaping the ETL architecture and must be able to resolve difficult design and build issues. Expert level experience with the Informatica toolset is required to develop and maintain current and future data marts.
- Extract and Analyze data from numerous heterogenous patient and staffing data systems, used for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex reporting data marts.
- Liaison between technical staff, non-technical staff, and business clients to gather business requirements needed to build and implement complex data warehouse database structures.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve difficult data warehouse technical issues, including Production break/fix problems.

- Database Architect Determines database structural requirements by analysing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.
Requirements

- 84 months of experience designing and implementing Enterprise Data warehouse architecture solutions using the Kimball methodology of dimensional modelling.
- 84 months of experience designing and implementing Oracle Virtual Private Database (VPD) and Oracle Fine grained Auditing in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
- 84 months of experience in collaborating with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) developers as a team lead in designing Informatica ETL process and data warehouse database architecture.
- 84 months of experience working with non-technical and business clients to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for technical applications.
- 84 months of experience analysing, interpreting, and outputting patient mental health data from numerous heterogenous systems including pharmacy, Medicaid, incident, patient movement, and human resource systems.
- 84 months of experience in relational data management disciplines and design and development experience using Oracle technologies.
