We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Financial Functional Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules and a proven track record of implementing, configuring, and optimizing these modules to meet business requirements. This position is based in Seattle, WA.

Job Title: Oracle EBS Financial Functional Consultant

Location: Seattle, WA (1 Week onsite and 3 weeks remote )

Type: Long-term Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the implementation and support of Oracle EBS Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective Oracle EBS solutions.
  • Configure and customize Oracle EBS Financial modules to align with business processes and requirements.
  • Perform system testing, including writing and executing test scripts, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure smooth adoption and effective use of Oracle EBS Financial modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EBS Financial modules, working closely with technical teams as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and training materials.
  • Participate in project planning and management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Stay updated with Oracle EBS updates, patches, and new releases, and assess their impact on existing configurations and customizations.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of Oracle EBS Financial modules, including performance tuning and optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in configuring and customizing Oracle EBS Financial modules to meet business requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oracle EBS certification is a plus.
