Ophthalmology Locums in Tucson, Arizona - 24/hr Call for Emergency Department
Location: Tucson, Arizona
-Duration: Feb or Mar 2021 Ongoing into 2021 (potential for extension or locums to permanent)
-Schedule: 7on, 7 off schedule,
-Scope: It s almost 100% call consults with follow-up in the morning.
Usually general ocular traumas abrasions (no burn), impalements, retinal detachment, and occasional global rupture.
They must by "promptly available" meaning 30 min from notification arrival.
No admitting, hospitalist will admit.
100% adult patient population
-Rounding and 24/hr call for Emergency Department
-Patient volume: 3-5 patient consults per week for trauma 1
-Epic Cerner
Hospital: 486 beds, Level I Trauma Center
-Required: Board certified or board eligible with Arizona license.
