St. Luke's Cataract & Laser Institute is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician - Entry Level to work out of our Tarpon Springs location. About the Position Ophthalmic Technicians prepare patients for appointments with the physician, interview patients and document their history, preform diagnostic tests, and scribe for the physician while maintaining a clean and friendly environment. This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate to Earn as you learn with On-The-Job Training. We offer a 6-8 week paid training program that specializes in ophthalmic medicine. During training, you will be able to get a more hands on experience using state-of-the-art technology to provide the highest quality care to our patients. As a technician with St. Luke's, you will be part of our world-renowned medical team. You will have the opportunity for paid advancements to become a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, Certified Ophthalmic Technician, and Certified Ophthalmic Master Technician. Our training center is located at our Tarpon Springs Campus. Once training is completed, we may have opportunities at other campuses in the Tampa Bay Area (Clearwater, Springhill, St. Petersburg, Tampa, or Tarpon Springs). What do we look for?
