At Palm Beach Eye Center - Lake Worth we are looking for an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team.

This is a Monday - Friday, Day shift position.No Weekends and No Holidays, with great benefits and competitive pay.

As an ophthalmic technician in our state-of-the-art practice, you will be:

Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Proficient in Medical Scribing.
Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.
Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate.
Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications.
Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers,
Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.
Proficient with EMR computer programs.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

Strong Ophthalmic Tech experience
Proficient in Medical Scribing.
Refractions experience
Experience with checking vision and identifying chief complaint
IOP
Knowledge of various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)
Strong hospitality, customer service, and patient care skills
