POSITION - Machine Operator

JOB LOCATION - Menomonie, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE - Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM - Temp to Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) - 1st Shift (5am-3:30pm, Mon-Thurs)

STARTING PAY - $18/hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION - HS Diploma/GED/HSED required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - Previous factory or warehouse is preferred

Employees will aid in the manufacturing of animal supplemental products and may take a supervisory role and ensure production runs smoothly. Employees may also perform quality checks and clean and maintain production equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operate various equipment such as injection molds, hot extrusion machines, and labelers to meet production demands.
Ensure equipment is free of residual products, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Load materials into hoppers during production processes.
Communicate promptly with maintenance team to address any equipment malfunctions.
Set up machines according to Batch Record specifications and complete required checklists.
Maintain accurate records including Batch Records, logs, and forms as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP) standards.
Monitor production processes, making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
Conduct metal detector verification and maintain corresponding documentation.
Ensure all safety guards are properly in place during production.
Perform quality checks on packaging materials and products to ensure accuracy.
Perform general labor duties as needed.
Fulfill any other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Able to stand for long periods of time.

• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and perform repetitious motion.

• Ability to read and write clearly and possess basic math skills.

• Ability to work in various temperature ranges.

• Committed to excellent attendance and a strong desire to work.
