Job Description

The primary function of the Operations Manager is to supervise and effectively manage assigned staff to complete work safely and effectively. This position must understand all operational functions within multiple departments and allocate resources effectively between said functions to ensure work is properly executed.

Essential Duties-

Lead and develop staff in the following areas: inbound receiving, inventory replenishment, value-added services (VAS), order picking and processing, and other areas as assigned.

Implement and support safety programs and safe work practices.

Follow and enforce safety and compliance rules and regulations.

Train, maintain, and hold staff accountable for Operational SOPs.

Actively manage team members including: allocating resources to appropriately complete production goals, assigning responsibilities, ensuring shift-changeover runs smoothy, coaching team members, approving PTO, and administering disciplinary action as needed.

Will oversee a team of Crew Leads who will be assigned to each areas of operation.

Work closely with leadership team in day to day management of Operations including daily execution of goals for each department.

Understand and be able to operate the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to review production status, wave orders, research inventory, and other tasks as needed.
