Job DetailsThe Sr Project Manager / Operations Manager is a crucial leadership role, overseeing various aspects, including estimating, project management, drafting, and procurement processes. The Operations Manager collaborates with the Preconstruction Sales & Marketing Team.
- Oversee all facets of the company's internal production workflow, from preconstruction through fabrication release
- Hire, train, perform annual reviews, and offboard staff
- Manage the onboarding & offboarding of employees
- Provide training & conduct annual performance reviews for employees
- Analyze the overall performance of the company and establish and audit metrics
- Take the lead in the development and implementation of process systems and improvements, streamlining operations for better efficiency
- Conduct annual performance reviews and establish yearly objectives for direct reports
- Actively promote and support the professional development and growth of staff members
- Lead and manage major project teams, ensuring efficient allocation and balancing of internal resources while adhering to predetermined schedule milestones
- Responsible for creating and managing the annual operating budgets for the department
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in the role of a Project Manager within the commercial building construction sector
- 3+ years of prior experience in project management and preferably operations management within a subcontracting firm
- 3+ years experience in managing a team, encompassing aspects such as recruitment, training, coaching, and fostering continuous professional development
- Strong understanding and practical experience with legal aspects of commercial construction contracts and their respective obligations
