Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

Oversee the production of precision deep drawn enclosures and components, ensuring they meet the tightest tolerances and quality standards.

Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles, including six sigma, kanban, dock-to-stock, and vendor-managed inventory programs.

Collaborate with the engineering team during design phases to ensure robust and economical designs, leveraging the company's tooling library to reduce costs and lead times.

Ensure precision and quality in in-house tooling design and concurrent engineering processes.

Manage value-added services such as assembly, machining, welding, and surface treatments and coatings, ensuring compliance with industry certifications and standards.

Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing and process development through cellular manufacturing and real-time data capture on the shop floor.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metal stamping or precision engineering sectors.

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma, and other quality management systems.

Experience in overseeing complex manufacturing processes and managing cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with the aerospace, medical, battery, electronics, and industrial markets.

Understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 certifications, and ITAR registration requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
