In this role, you'll play a strategic role in the success of our client's business by overseeing and optimizing their construction and service departments. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance performance, productivity, efficiency, and ultimately, profitability.

Here's what you'll do:

Orchestrate the smooth operation of departments and staff, ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards shared goals.

Establish effective HR policies and practices, recruit and onboard talented staff, delegate tasks, and supervise performance.

Analyze financial data, utilize it to boost profitability, manage accounts receivable, control budgets, and develop financial plans for long-term success.

Continuously improve processes and policies to maximize efficiency and achieve organizational goals. Implement effective departmental and organizational procedures to ensure consistent high output.

Collaborate with ownership, contribute to the development of operational strategies for growth, and manage operational plans for successful execution.

We're looking for someone with:

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Operations, or a related field (preferred).

Construction industry experience, either as a general contractor or subcontractor (highly recommended).

Expertise in organizational effectiveness and operations management.

A solid understanding of business and management principles, financial and accounting practices, and human resource principles.

Knowledge of project management methodologies.

You should also possess:

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent planning, organization, and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication, persuasion, and leadership skills.

The ability to delegate tasks, negotiate, and manage conflict effectively.
