LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Operations General Manager role to lead, optimize and develop a manufacturing process and procedures for three joint multi-faceted wood and door distribution facilities across New Jersey and New York, based out of the Pennsauken, NJ area. The right candidate for this role has a minimum of 5 years' experience leading a strategic organization in streamlining logistics operations, implementation of ERP systems, oversee and account for budget and forecasting and a high proficiency in reporting KPI's. This is a fully on-site role that will require travel to two other sites as needed. The successful candidates will have successful record of ERP implementation as well as extensive demand planning currently or very recently.

Salary range: $160,000 to $200,000 DOE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement the manufacturing strategy aligned with company goals and forecasts.

Identify areas of improvement opportunities within supply chain.

Identify, develop and improve processes for scheduling work to increase manufacturing deliverables.

Implement forecasting and demand planning methods.

Identify areas of improvement for intercompany order processes.

Identify and enhance internal pricing methodology to leverage market conditions.

Implement technology solutions to improve supply chain visibility and tracking such as ERP implementation.

Identify and work collaboratively to identify and recommend emerging technologies for process improvement.

Train, lead, and mentor a high-performing manufacturing team.

Oversee development of training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Streamline logistics operations.

Collaborate with distribution partners to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for performance analytics and reporting.

Provide status updates to leadership on metrics and achievements weekly, monthly, and quarterly.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, Manufacturing, Business - MBA highly preferred.

  • Prior experience in wood manufacturing or door and window manufacturing REQUIRED.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment of 5 years minimum required.

  • Strong comprehension of manufacturing process and procedures, continuous improvement, scheduling and production requirements required.

  • Proven demonstrated ability to implement strategic policy and procedures.

  • Proven ability to negotiate successfully.
