Job Description

Arcadis is seeking an Operations Director in Canada to join our Mobility Global Business Area (GBA). The Operations Director, Mobility Canada will align service, resourcing and project risk activities across the Business Area (BA), whilst ensuring consistency in approach, operations & speed of service transformation.

This role reports to reports directly to the BA Director and indirectly to the GBA Operations Director. This position is located in Canada and can be based out of any of our Canada offices.

Role accountabilities:

The Operations Director is responsible for Project Performance, Project Governance & Change Control, Project Cash Collection, Compliance, and service including actively create environment for adoption of service best practice including standardization, automation and digital tools.

Additional responsibilities include Operational focus on:

Governance of Project Set up/handover (country size dependent).

PM Allocation.

Conduction specific training to support increased capability of the PM Cohort.

Project Reviews.

Risk Regime in place.

Project/commercial support.

Collaborating with growth/finance/legal.

Maintain Watch List and R&O to understand key risks for projects.

Participation and visibility of resource supply & demand forecasting and resultant plans.
