Duties As an Operations and Plans Analyst (Prevention), you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list: Serve as the Operations and Plans Analyst directly responsible for day-to-day operations management of the Prevention Force Modernization Proponent (PFMP) and the synchronization of all activities on the operations calendar. Prepare executive level detailed orders, reports, briefings, and significant actions to keep leaders informed of on-going missions and programs related to the prevention of harmful behaviors in the Army. Serve as action officer for various special programs, tasks, and projects related to the prevention of harmful behaviors (for example: Sexual Assault, Harassment, Equal Opportunity, IPAG or Army Substance Abuse Program). Develops budget preparation and submission products to ensure the PFMP is aligned with TRADOC, Army and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBE). Responsible for the operation, tracking and maintenance of formal actions and suspense tracking systems (such as ETMS, CATMS), processing of incoming communication and transmittal of messages for the prevention of harmful behaviors FMP. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment. Temporary Duty (TDY), may be required up to 25% of the time. One year probationary period may be required if not previously completed. Specialized experience is defined as: Work which includes 1) Facilitating the planning efforts, program implementation, and day to day operations of a military prevention program to prevent harmful behaviors (for example: Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention, Equal Opportunity, Integrated Prevention Advisory Group (IPAG) or Army Substance Abuse Program); 2) Managing the operation, tracking, and maintenance of formal task actions and suspense tracking systems (such as Education and Training Management Systems (ETMS), Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS); 3) Developing budget preparation and submission documents to ensure the PFMP is congruent with milestones of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBE); AND 4) Preparing detailed reports and briefings to keep leadership informed of on-going missions and programs related to the prevention of harmful behaviors.
