Operations Analyst with Security Clearance

Overview OPERATIONS ANALYST (EODT 2): Bowhead seeks a Operations Analyst to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane Division (NSWC-Crane). The Operation Analyst will provide support for current Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projects and assist in managing Innovation efforts across Crane. The Operations Analyst must have extreme attention to detail and organization skills and must be an expert user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, Microsoft Access skills are also crucial for reviewing feasibility and implementing recommendations. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: Organizes material, perform data analytics, and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. Other duties as assigned Qualified candidates must have: A balanced skill set that includes relevant experience, operational conversancy, business/programmatic skills, system knowledge, and the ability to quickly and efficiently achieve mission objectives. Prior experience with management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel and subcontractors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field with fifteen (15) years of experience in Operations Management including demonstrated experience leading productivity analysis and continuous improvement projects . Experience identifying, evaluating, and presenting project risk, and experience in performing cost/benefit and best value analyses of proposed courses of action or on-going operations. Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, sit and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
