Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Manage the company's financial accounting system (QuickBooks) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves.
  • Review and process monthly entries for fixed assets.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
  • Manage the preparation and execution of payroll processes.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls and processes.
  • Participate in the development of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
  • Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, etc. when necessary.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  • Assist in the development of financial strategy and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with accounts receivable and fixed assets.
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, and constantly evolving environment.
