Operating Room Technician

Under the direct supervision of licensed personnel, the Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) performs a variety of duties to assist the staff in delivery of patient care. The OR Tech spends a majority of time interacting with, assisting, and supporting the OR team and surgeons; responsible to maintain logbooks in sterile storage areas; orders, unboxes, and stocks surgical supplies and instruments in sterile storage areas; and pulls disposable items for surgical cases. The OR Tech maintains cleanliness of storage space and manages inventory for outdates.
