This is a full-time position with a nine-month academic year. This position is subject to the availability of funds. Required Qualifications An earned doctorate AND master's, one of which must be in healthcare administration or closely related field from a CAHME , AACSB or CePH accredited program. Appointment at each rank must include both years of experience and demonstration of competence in teaching in a synchronous and asynchronous manner. To be considered for assistant professor of instruction: the candidate must demonstrate current and contemporary competence in their teaching content area; and exhibit the potential for continued professional growth in teaching and instructional activities. To be considered for associate professor of instruction: the candidate must demonstrate current and contemporary competence in their teaching content area; document more than five years of full-time effective teaching and learning contributions, including advances in curriculum, pedagogy, course delivery, or similar innovation; and exhibit the potential for increased leadership in teaching and instructional activities (e.g., course coordination, teaching innovation, professional outreach, scholarly engagement). To be considered for professor of instruction: the candidate must demonstrate current and contemporary competence in their teaching content area; document more than 10 years of full-time effective and sustained teaching and learning contributions, including advances in curriculum, pedagogy, course delivery, or similar innovation; and document recognition for leadership and contributions in teaching and instructional activities (e.g., awards, accreditation reviews, curriculum innovation, program coordination, scholarly contributions). Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates who have board certification in the American College of Healthcare Executives ( ACHE ) and/or Healthcare Financial Management Association ( HFMA ). Doctorate/PhD from an AACSB , CePH or CAHME accredited program is preferred.
