Neill Epperson, MD and is in the process of growing the Department of Psychiatry with new programs and expanding existing programs. Nature of Work The position requires innovation, flexibility and the ability to work across healthcare systems. The psychiatrist will be based in the University of Colorado Hospital Emergency Medicine Department with perform Psychiatric moonlighting services. Please note, this is an open rank position and could be categorized as Clinical Instructor, Clinical Senior Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below. Professional Field Psychiatry Examples of Work Performed The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Participate in attending rotation in ED service with flexible hours Build relationships with other departments and campuses Participate in the attending call rotation Actively contributes in Academic Advancement of his/her discipline Keeps abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skills Supervision Received This position reports to the Director of Emergency Services and Department of Psychiatry Supervision Exercised This position will not supervise other employees. Salary and Benefits: The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for these positions has been established at: Clinical Instructor: $120/hour Clinical Senior Instructor: $120/hour Clinical Assistant Professor: $120/hour Clinical Associate Professor: $120/hour Clinical Professor: $120/hour For the moonlighting hours worked. This is non-negotiable as it is a department standard rate. This is a non-benefits eligible position.
