Job Title: Okta Administrator
Job Type: Contract (6 months) / Contract to Hire (6 months)
Responsibilities:
- Implement, integrate and support Okta's cloud technologies
- Transition, support and knowledge of new application integrations and environment upgrades to SSO operations, while collaborating with multiple teams (Infrastructure, Engineering, Architecture, Information Security etc.).
- Assist with the transition of new and existing applications into Okta SSO and federation services, while enhancing web access management, and directory service environments.
- Perform development and configuration for integrating applications with Okta for SSO and federation services.
- Ensure the uptime, and proper maintenance of the SSO platform, with the support of the engineers and developers.
- Support technical integration needs (design and development) that facilitate connectivity between SSO, directory, and provisioning tools.
- Follow proper change management and problem management procedures.
- Test and evaluate changes and perform deployments during change windows.
- Document architecture and processes.
- Day to day Okta administration
- Onboarding new applications to SSO
- Troubleshooting any issues with logons / connections
- Handling tickets
- Creating new workflows and troubleshooting workflows
- Writing scripts that use Okta apis
- Depending on skill set assisting in IT operations/administration of Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365, Jira, Confluence and/or end user device management of Mac and Windows devices with Jamf and Intune.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory:
- Okta Administration
- Okta Workflows setup and configuration
- Scripting experience utilizing Okta apis (any programming language)
- Good to have:
- Greatly desired to have previous experience with automating onboarding and offboarding of users
- Documentation experience is highly valued
Highly desired if you have a breadth of IT knowledge across other SaaS products including Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365, Jira, Confluence and/or end user device management experience in Mac and Windows with Jamf and Intune
