Job Description:

EXPERIENCED PACU/Phase I Recovery RN NEEDED. EPIC EXPERIENCE with Optime platform HIGHLY DESIRABLE. Candidates with current or very recent PACU adult and pediatric recovery room experience OR recent adult critical care experience in complex setting required. We are currently utilizing 5 bays within an 8 bay PACU with a high acuity patient population. This unit sees all types of PACU cases, including general surgery, pediatric ent/dentals, gynecological, orthopedics, podiatry. The RN will care for patients with vasoactive drips, ventilators, re-intubations, hemodynamically unstable patients, and fresh post operative patients of all listed above. Pediatric patients are seen twice weekly. RNs discharge patients home from PACU in the evening hours. Floating off unit is not regularly expected but may occur. Candidates MUST have BLS(AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) and NIHSS. The RN will be required to pass dysrhythmia, hemodynamic monitoring and medication tests upon start. Call is required with a maximum 30-minute response time.
Saint Francis Muskogee is licensed for approximately 240 beds. We receive and treat a wide variety of high acuity patients.
