Responsibilities
Oversee the deployment and operation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for offshore projects
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of AUV systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations
Provide technical guidance and support to the AUV team members
Coordinate with project teams to plan and execute AUV operations
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives
Monitor the performance of AUV systems during operations, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team
Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of AUV equipment
Review and analyze data collected by AUVs, providing accurate and comprehensive reports to project teams
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in AUV operations
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Offshore AUV Supervisor in the offshore industry
Proven track record of successfully overseeing AUV operations
Strong technical knowledge of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) systems and equipment
Experience in coordinating and leading a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations governing offshore operations
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Flexibility to work in offshore environments for extended periods
