Due to our continued growth in our Edison, New Jersey Office, we are seeking an Office Engineer/Inspector with NICET III/IV with experience on replacement and rehabilitation work for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority as well as projects for New Jersey Transit.
Responsibilities- Responsible for construction inspection of major infrastructure rehabilitation projects
- Monitor and track project schedule and budget
- Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
- Coordinate and track all project plans and drawings
Qualifications- NICET III/IV Certified and experience in construction inspections
- New Jersey experience a big+, especially with New Jersey Turnpike Authority and New Jersey Transit Bridge and/or Bus Facilities
- ACI-CCTC, ACI and TCP certifications (Rutgers) required
- Worked with New Jersey Turnpike Authority's Cap-Ex system and with Operations
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods and procedures
- Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
- Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborate with multiple team members
- Physical ability and coordination to safely maneuver around construction sites
