CFS has partnered with a dynamic and growing organization seeking a detail-oriented Cash Management Clerk to join their team ASAP.

Responsibilities:

  1. Phone Support:
    • Respond promptly to calls from stores, addressing inquiries and resolving daily issues such as malfunctioning credit card machines, cash drawer discrepancies, and payout procedures.
  2. Daily Store Reconciliation:
    • Manage cash drawer closeouts for assigned stores, ensuring accurate reconciliation of payments collected, including credit card transactions, cash/check deposits, and specialized cards
    • Proactively communicate with stores to identify and resolve any discrepancies, maintaining a log of daily overages/shortages for tracking purposes.
    • Compile a monthly summary of outstanding differences for each store, detailing communication history and proposed resolutions.
  3. Bank Reconciliation:
    • Conduct reconciliation of store deposits in Dynamics accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  4. Payout Receipt Verification:
    • Verify receipts submitted by stores for cash payouts (Petty Cash), confirming the authenticity of transactions and reconciling amounts in the Payout program.
    • Document any discrepancies and take appropriate actions to rectify errors.
  5. Supply Management:
    • Utilize the Commit program to coordinate the distribution of banking supplies to stores, including night depository bank bags and deposit slips.
    • Maintain meticulous records of supplies dispatched and communicate effectively with reception for timely delivery to stores.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting software preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or retail support roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
