Akkodis has an amazing client seeking an Office Administrator to join their organization.


Location - Ames, IA. (onsite 5 days a week)

Rate: 20-22/hr

This is a 6 month contract to hire role.

Hours will be 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. with a 1-hour lunch from noon to 1 P.M., Monday through Friday.


The ideal candidate will be in charge of the organization and efficiency of daily office operations. From scheduling client meetings, to communicating between departments, you will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks in a professional and timely manner.


Responsibilities

  • The position will involve a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to word processing, document formatting, large document production, record retention, filing, and proofreading.

  • The position also includes front desk reception responsibilities:

  • You will answer the phone, greet visitors, prepare labels and envelopes for daily outgoing mail, operate the postage machine, complete certified and express mail, and arrange for courier services.


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, primarily Word, is necessary. Other programs such as Access, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat may also be used.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
