Occupational Therapist-New Grads Welcome Job Description
Position Summary:
Perform patient evaluation and treatments under the direction of a physician s order and the guidelines of all State, Federal, and Professional laws and regulations. Complete all required documentation and billing for such services to ensure high quality patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
- Complete comprehensive patient evaluation as ordered under the direction of a physician.
- Develop and implement an individualized plan of care to meet patient s and family s goals in order to restore and/or maintain a patient s highest level of function and quality of life through the utilization of selected occupational therapy procedures including physical agents, therapeutic exercise, and ADL functional training.
- Communicate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive medical and rehabilitation services.
Minimum Qualification:
Education: Graduated from AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy program. Maintains a current active license in the state of practice and NCBOT certification.
Experience: A new grads welcome . - Salary: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
