We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings.

Full-Time Occupational Therapists needed to provide Early Intervention or School Based Therapy in the AM and private sessions in our Clinic in Whitestone, Queens.

We are looking for a committed and child-focused Occupational Therapist to develop, recover, enhance or maintain the daily living skills of children with a broad spectrum of developmental needs.

Clinic in Queens includes a state of the art large gross motor and Sensory Gym filled with equipment that creates a fun, safe and motivating environment for exploration and movement, as well as opportunities for imagination and pretend play.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide occupational therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 3 years in their most natural environment.
Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
Provide services in diverse settings such as patient homes, daycare centers, facility-based and/or other community settings.
Follow Individualized Family Service Plan, collaborate ongoing treatment, and facilitate goals and treatment plan for parents.
Complete daily session notes after treatment.
Prepare progress reports as per program timelines.
Maintain client records in a confidential secure manner.
Maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards in service provision.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, use of public transportation such as a bus or train, and/or walking.
