OBGYN Opening in Covington, LA 40m from New Orleans Position Benefits - Diagnose, manage and treat obstetrical and gynecologic patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting - Provide input in the development of standard of care guidelines for Ob/Gyn service line Minimum Qualification - Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine. - Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology- Minimum of 3-years of Ob/Gyn practice post residency - Practice-based learning and improvement- Patient care and procedural skills- Systems-based practice- Appropriate medical knowledge- Interpersonal and communication skills- ProfessionalismMust possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required.
