OBGYN opening in Maine - visa eligible x000D x000D Located in Caribou, ME - 200m from Bangor, ME x000D Full time, permanent opening x000D Employed position x000D Joining 2 OBGYNs & 2 CNMs x000D Full-time: 40 - 45 hours/week, including operating room time x000D Patients: Community profile includes a sizeable population of women for whom gynecological surgical procedures and urodynamic testing are becoming increasingly important. x000D On-Call Rotation: 1:3 x000D The leader of deliveries, north of Bangor Maine, with over 200 deliveries annually x000D High-risk mothers and neonates are referred for delivery to Bangor x000D The Women's & Children's Health Center is located downstairs, providing inside access within minutes to the labor/delivery/postpartum unit of the hospital x000D OB unit and team are award-winning and have a well-earned reputation as the warmest, friendliest, and most desirable place to deliver babies north of Bangor x000D Specialists available include urology, orthopedic and general surgery, and ophthalmology x000D Access to outpatient clinics including diabetes counseling and nutritional therapy x000D x000D Join a physician practice management organization with 40 physicians and 20 mid-level providers. The health system's Maine locations include Caribou (3 offices), Presque Isle, Washburn, Fort Fairfield, and Van Buren. In the fall of 2007, the practice was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing enhanced access to health care services for all members of the community, and allowing the practice to employ providers holding H-1B and J-1 visas. x000D x000D Caribou, Maine, is the most northeastern city within the United States and has a population of approximately 8,000 people.
