Bear Mountain Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced and organized Scheduling Coordinator to schedule nursing staff in our Boston, MA facility.
Our Health and Rehabilitation Center, our comprehensive continuum of healthcare services include Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term and Respite Care. Our facility is staffed with healthcare professionals who attend to every patient's needs.
As the Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling RN's/LPN's and Certified Nursing Assistants for a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week operation.
Must remain within budgeted hours each week. Must not schedule overtime without prior approval of the Administrator. To be considered, the ideal candidate must be experienced as a Nursing Department Scheduler with at least 2 years in that role. Organized, Reliable and the ability to Communicate are hallmarks of a good scheduler. The right candidate will show the ability to "wheel and deal" to cover open positions.
Understanding the needs of the Center and balancing that with the needs of the Nursing Staff is a critical "must-have" trait.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): - Coordinate and plan employee schedules
- Meet staffing ratios/requirements
- Follow protocols for dealing with callouts
- Assist with recruiting new employees
- Assist HR department as required

Experience: - Customer service: 1 year (Required)

Job Type: Full-time, 8-hour shift
Salary: $21 - $23/ per hour, based on experience
