Brookside Senior Living community offering assisted living and memory care in Montevideo, MN is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you are responsible for providing high quality clinical care and services to residents. You will help our residents experience independence and dignity within a loving community atmosphere. We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in our residents' lives. Responsibilities:
- Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
- Coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care for assisted living and memory care residents.
- Assists in gathering information for assessments per direction for RN-ADD
- Assist with scheduled of care staff
- Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
- Monitor nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must have a current MN LPN or RN license and be in good standing.
- Ability to train staff for optimum care of residents.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Skills in problem definition and resolution.
- Ability to focus all efforts toward quality resident care.
