OPEN POSITION:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Primary Care

SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- 4 Days per Week
- 40 Hours per Week
- No Evenings
- No On-Call

OFFICE HOURS:
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm
- Saturday / Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

COMPENSATION:
- $110,000 to $120,000 Annual Base Salary

COMPANY PROFILE:
This compassionate, family-centered private practice has been serving the greater Tacoma area for more than 35 years, providing full scope primary care. They currently boast a provider staff of 4 physicians, 2 physician assistants, and 5 nurse practitioners. They have on-site services for laboratory, x-ray, EKG, and minor surgical procedures. Their overall offerings include family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, women's healthcare, smoking cessation, DOT / CDL physicals, weight loss counseling, and more.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is an outpatient primary care position in a private practice, seeing patients from pediatrics through adulthood - there is no geriatric care involved.

Providers see an average of 22 patients per day and are supported by dedicated clinical assistants.

All work is within the area of standard family medicine:

- pediatric primary care
- adolescent primary care
- adult primary care
- annual check-ups
- follow-up visits
- women's healthcare
- various physicals
- chronic disease management
- minor sick/injury visits
- weight loss counseling
- smoking cessation

The practice has on-site laboratory, x-ray, and EKG services, as well as facilities for minor surgical procedures.

The practice currently uses the eClinicalWorks EHR, but is in the process of transitioning to Epic.

Please note that this position will be 40 hours per week, working 4 days per week. Initially, the provider's day off can be Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Once the new provider has settled into the practice, they can transition to having Monday or Friday off.

The schedule will also involve one (1) weekend shift every 1 to 2 months. When a provider works on a weekend, they are given equivalent time off during the week.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Washington NP or PA license
- DEA
- no experience required
