Nurse Practitioner, Full Time Atlanta, GA

Salary: $100,000+

Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm No Hospital Rounds

Our practice is a physician owned thriving Family and Occupational Medicine Practice established in the Atlanta area for over 25 years. We are located just south of Hartsfield Jackson Airport. We are fully equipped with a wide range of diagnostics, an efficient EMR system, patient portal, friendly trained staff to serve the healthcare needs of individuals, families and companies.

Qualifications:

Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction

Graduate of an NP program or an accredited university

Board Certification or eligible

Current Drug Enforcement Agency registration

BLS Certification

Ability to see 20-25 patients/day

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary and occupational health services by evaluation, diagnosing and treating new and existing patient's medical conditions. Conducting follow up care. Complete all notes in patient's EMR indication clear treatment plan and procedures performed. Perform thorough Health Maintenance and Well women exams. Provide a clear treatment plan to help manage the patient's chronic health conditions, wellness goals and lifestyle changes under the supervision of a licensed physician. Ordering and interpreting lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results. Provide health education to patients and families. Supervising/coordinating the activities of patient care and support staff. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the staff is critical to success in this position. The ability to effectively build and manager relationships with our patient community is critical to the success of our practice. The job requires access to confidential and sensitive information requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management. Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with the nurse protocol agreement.
