We are on the hunt for a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent, full-time, day shift position where you will be instrumental in providing high-quality patient care. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your skills in managing chronic conditions, acute care, and comorbidities will be put to use. Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients, focusing on disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and health improvement.
  • Manage patients with chronic conditions and multiple comorbidities, ensuring they receive the appropriate care.
  • Evaluate patient's health status through the interpretation of health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss care plans and progress.
  • Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes to improve patient's health.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide acute care.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, preventive health measures, and post-hospital care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Stay updated with advancements in the medical field and adopt them in practice.
  • Adhere to all the laws and regulations pertaining to nursing and healthcare.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience working in corrections medicine or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in managing chronic conditions, acute care, and comorbidities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic with high patience levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare software and computer systems.
  • Willingness to work in day shifts.
