Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional healthcare services in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will serve as a key member of our healthcare team, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. The role requires the ability to manage a high volume of patients, with an average of 30+ patients per day, and function as the sole provider on site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Urgent Care, including experience in laceration repair, suturing, and I&D. Our facility features on-site labs, enabling our healthcare team to provide comprehensive, immediate care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) profession, including physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Manage the care of 30+ patients per day, functioning as the sole provider on site.
  • Perform a variety of procedures including laceration repair, suturing, and I&D.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care.
  • Interpret and analyze on-site lab results to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferably in Urgent Care.
  • Proven experience in laceration repair, suturing, and I&D.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of patients, with an average of 30+ patients per day.
  • Excellent clinical skills with the ability to work as the sole provider on site.
  • Experience in interpreting and analyzing lab results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
