Position Overview: As a PMHNP-BC, you'll not only manage your client caseload but also provide consultation, training, and assistance to fellow Nurse Practitioners, ensuring the highest quality of care. What Sets You Apart:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Willingness to be licensed in multiple states where CFS has or will have an office.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the ANCC.
Experience that Matters:
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a PMHNP-BC in psychiatric settings.
  • Minimum of two years of management experience.
  • Minimum of two years of training facilitation and development experience preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations and a range of psychiatric disorders.
  • Strong understanding of medication management and prescribing psychotropic medications.
  • Working experience in evidence-based psychotherapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing).
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems for accurate patient records and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure clinical practices meet ethical standards and federal/state regulations.
  • Serve as an educational resource to the team and clients.
  • Act as a mentor to foster NP development.
  • Involved in NP hiring and training processes.
  • Develop and implement Medication Management policies.
  • Audit records for quality of care.
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for comprehensive client care.
  • Utilize CFS's Electronic Health Record for documentation and prescribing.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in psychiatric care.
Requirements to Thrive:

  • Proficiency in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and privacy.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and word processing software.
Other Conditions:
  • Must be willing to travel as often as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
