We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with acute medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and lab work.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Perform minor procedures as needed, including wound care and suturing.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current New York Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in Urgent Care or a similar setting.
- Proficiency in conducting medical assessments and diagnosing acute illnesses and injuries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make sound clinical judgments.
