Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with acute medical conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and lab work.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
  • Perform minor procedures as needed, including wound care and suturing.
  • Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current New York Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in Urgent Care or a similar setting.
  • Proficiency in conducting medical assessments and diagnosing acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make sound clinical judgments.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and excellent customer service.
