Job Title: Nurse Manager

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (East Bell Road and the 101)

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 plus depending on experience

Employment Type: Full Time with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, Vision and 401k)

Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays.)

Envita is seeking to add an extremely organized and detail-oriented Nurse Manager to our growing company. Envita Medical Center focuses on IV infusions, performing approximately 50,000 IVs a year. Therefore, this position will be responsible for ensuring patient protocols and treatment plans are followed daily according to the Physicians prescriptions. This position will have some patient interaction but will mostly be dealing with our nursing and physician team. The ability to balance patient care and administrative tasks is extremely important. Our ideal candidate will have superb patient care and organizational skills. The ability to be calm, professional, proactive, and flexible in all scenarios is a must.

Responsibilities:
  • Review new patient protocols for contraindications, reactions, and to verify dosing
  • Review policies and procedures to assess and improve workflow
  • Develop, implement, interpret, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including internal nursing protocols and external protocols such as OSHA
  • Consult with physicians when unusual reactions or situations arise with patients
  • Write and implement new SOPs. Communicate any protocol change and new therapies to staff and train them on SOPs. Ensure department's SOPs are followed at all times.
  • Handle patients' and staff's questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Be an advocate for nursing department between intercompany departments
  • Handle internal employee conflicts
  • Maintain a positive work culture and professional environment
  • Interview, hire, oversee nursing training, development, hold accountable, succession planning and assist with terminations of nursing staff when necessary. Oversee department's schedule, identify needs, and schedule staff accordingly .
  • Review blood work to analyze treatment appropriateness
  • Monitor and audit nursing charting, tasks, workflow and team performance
  • Identify issues or emergencies and respond in a calm, professional, and efficient manner. Perform high level patient assessments during emergencies
  • Provide compassionate care to patients and their families
  • Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance
  • Assign patients to nurses
  • Perform other tasks or special projects as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of management experience required
  • Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment
  • High level customer service is a must
  • Must be a self-starter and have a great work ethic
  • Must have an ownership spirit who wants to excel at their position
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately in a timely manner
  • Must be able to speak professionally and communicate effectively at all times
