Nurse Manager needed for a nursing facility located in Penn Yan , NY
Salary: Up to $100K per year (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient safety and an outstanding patient/resident family experience
- Create an environment that fosters staff development, staff safety, and the best practice of nursing care
- Allocate resources to promote efficient, effective, compassionate, and responsible nursing care.
- Assures coordination of care across department lines through a focus on systems that promote interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Participates in the recruitment, selection, and retention of personnel
- Assures appropriate orientation, education, credentialing, and continuing professional development for personnel accountable to the nurse manager
Qualifications: - Must be a graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nurse Program
- Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Master in Nursing
- Must have Current NYS Registered Nurse License
- Must have at least 2 years of LTC nursing experience
- Must have previous management/ leadership experience
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Meditech
