Must live in Gainesville Florida Location: Gainesville, FL Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday Be the on-site pharmacy representative for the facility (Tacachale) to communicate all information between the facility and the pharmacy in an appropriate and effective manner. Attributes Required: Work Ethic/Integrity - must possess intrinsic drive to excel coupled with values in line with company philosophy Team Oriented - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all team members Essential job functions (including the following): Check the OPC fax machine and mailbox for orders. All faxed and collected information gets sorted in the date folder on the bookcase. Check liaison mailbox Usage slips are sent back to the pharmacy attention Data entry supervisor Obtain any deliveries, and take a general look at the room to see if orders were misplaced, forgotten etc. Restock- Be sure to check that all product is viable and in date Perform house rounds- These should take about 2 hours start to finish. Visit every house/med room and check for delivery slips, returns, and faxes. Also look for new ordered not yet faxed. If new orders are found, please pull, mark and fax. All returned meds MUST have a disposition sheet before you take it, otherwise, leave it in the med room and ask nurse to complete a disposition sheet Go to the dental clinic and pick up charts. Take the charts across the street to OPC. Look at any flagged charts for new orders. If the new orders pertain to pharmacy, date/time/initial the faxed box and pull the second copy of the order. Take that order to the office, make a darkened copy of it, and fax the darken copy to Guardian. Repeat rounds as necessary Staff will call you throughout the day with issues that have arisen. You will also be responsible for picking up medications offsite at Walgreen's when meds are needed prior to our scheduled deliveries Fax Machines- The liaison is responsible for scheduling maintenance or repairs as necessary When you see ordered for timed meds, LOA meds, or procedure meds, please call to follow up Get refills daily. Count all controlled substances once a week, count the non-controlled month. While counting, check for outdates Billing- Please look at the daily orders to see what products may have been utilized, if first dose was used, please alert to only send the remaining balance Attend meetings as requested Return golf carts to the garage and plug them in Med Room Inspections are to be performed using the MedPass Checklist/form on every nursing station monthly Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed Education and/or Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse license required State Nursing License Required Skills and Qualifications: Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines Ability to solve problems with minimal direction Great attention to detail and accuracy Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate Work Environment: Ability to work flexible hours What We Offer: Emotional well-being and physical health are important, which is why our employees receive a generous benefits package and a work culture that supports our core value of, "Treat others as you would like to be treated."
