Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Nurse Educator to join our Nursing Department. The Nursing Educator will have the responsibility for assisting the coordination of education with the planning, implementing and evaluating orientation, in-service and continuing education programs. Manages and supervises the staff activities and ensures staff competencies in the delivery of care.

Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing Required.
Bachelor's Degree or MSN from an accredited university preferred.
New York State RN License required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff nurse, a minimum of 1 year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long term care facility or other related medical facility and a minimum of 1 year experience supervising and implementing nursing education programs.
Experience required in teaching adults or supervising aides in the long-term care setting for a minimum of 1 year, or must have completed a course in teaching adults.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
Must be able to speak, write and read English.

Compensation: Min. $118,000 Max. $121,000 Annually
