423 Roosevelt Street Remsen Iowa, 51050 Position Summary: A Nurse Assistant assists the nursing department with regards to residents needs. Education / Licensure Requirements: A Nurse Assistant must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English. A Nurse Assistant must complete ongoing in-service training requirements. Essential Job Functions: Performs incidental housekeeping and maintenance task as may arise during the course of regular duties, in order to maintain a clean, safe, pleasant environment for residents, visitors and staff Assists with making the resident's beds Passes the water pitcher to residents Passes the towel and washcloths to the residents rooms Brings up from the basement and distributes nursing supplies Cleans resident assist devices such as, but not limited to, walking canes, geriatric chair, walkers, canes, etc. Straightens residents closets and drawers Please be aware this is a job summary, not an all inclusive listing of the tasks and duties for this position.
