Nuclear Med Tech

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the coordination and performance of a variety of nuclear medicine procedures that involve the utilization of radioactive materials (radiopharmaceuticals) and the operation of radiation detection and measurement instrumentation. Required: Must be a high school graduate. Must be a graduate of an approved professional School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and possess the professional certification of CNMT or RT (N) (ARRT) or be registry/certification eligible. Possess professional communication skills to work effectively and compatibly with patients, physicians, supervisors and ancillary staff. Must possess organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to perform all procedures in a technically accurate, organized manner. Must be certified in Basic Life Support (CPR). Must be flexible and easily adaptable to change Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred: Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
