Minimum Acceptable Qualifications: High School diploma or successful completion of GED. Must be prompt, understanding and recognize the needs of the students they supervise and serve. Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with other personnel is desired. Summary of Essential Job Duties: Know and follow the school building rules and regulations. Must follow school building procedure for notifyng call-offs, leaving early or coming in late. Report to the Principal's office prior to starting the daily duties. In case of an accident, send the child to the clinic and immediately notify the Principal or teacher in charge. If, in their opinion the injury is more than minor, keep child warm, safe and do not move him/her. Be aware of the environment around the school. Notify the building Principal of areas or equipment that might be hazardous to the safety and welfare of the students. Be alert while on the playground, in the cafeteria, hallways or in the classrooms to the needs of the students. Assist during lunch periods. Wipe tables, manage students in line, coordinate tray return and monitor students in cafeteria during all lunches. Report fighting or misbehavior to the Principal or teacher in charge. Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren City School District Board of Education. Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the building Principal, Superintendent, the Executive Director of Busines Operations, or his/her designee. Salary: $12.00/hr.
