We have Contract role for Non IT Project Manager for our client Redmond WA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.

Job Summary

  • Years of Experience Required - 5-7+
  • Degrees or certifications required - Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.

This non-IT project manager will plan, direct, coordinate activities, and drive the operations for four (4) security-related projects that are critical to the ongoing security of the Windows platform. These include:

Vulnerable driver triage, partner engagement, and response;
UEFI code signing and partner engagement;
HVCI incompatible driver triage, partner engagement, and response; and
TLS 1.0/1.1 deprecation partner outreach.

For each of the above projects, the vendor is responsible for:
Job Responsibilities:
1. Monitor the queue for each category (UEFI; HVCI; vulnerable drivers reported to MS: TLS 1.0/1.1 deprecation) to identify any items needing v-team triage/review;
2. Drive recurring meeting series for each category to triage/review new items pending for each and ensure action items are followed up in a timely manner;
3. Manage communications with external partners to gather information and coordinate response activities (e.g. adding driver to vulnerable driver block list; request cert revocations from CAs; etc );
4. Maintain internal and public-facing documentation about the three programs, their processes, and policies for each category;
5. Track tasks/bugs related to each category via ADO queries and create new tasks/bugs as needed based on v-team triage/review

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

• Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
