Job Description:

75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in large ED. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
CERTS: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
SHIFTS: SWING shift position is either 1pm-1am or 3pm-3am; 12 hour shifts. Weekends: varied - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SCRUBS: Required and not provided by the facility. White scrub top. Scrub pants in sangria red, plum purple, hunter green or black.

Additional Information And Terms:
1. Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. 2. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. 3. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. 4. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
