USA Multifamily Management - Night Monitor Reports To : Community Manager The purpose of this job description is to communicate the responsibilities and duties associated with the position of Night Monitor. JOB BRIEF: The primary responsibilities of the NIGHT MONITOR involve the safekeeping of the community by nightly securing the community room, (including exterior bathroom and laundry doors), and office, and to also ensure the kitchen appliances are turned off each evening. Nightly monitoring is done according to a schedule which is typically after hours on weekdays. Additionally, the schedule will include opening and closing the community room on weekends. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that could be performed. Lock all doors to rooms as assigned (including, but not limited to community room, including exterior bathroom, and laundry rooms). Check internal and external office doors for security each Turn off applicable kitchen appliances (i.e., coffee maker) each night. Provide backup for after hours maintenance emergency response when scheduled to do This task includes monitoring our paging device and responding appropriately. If called upon to do so, assist the Fire Department or Police Department with information to communicate with the manager or residents after hours. Open and close community room on weekends per Schedule: 7 days per week from 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm Compensation: 16.00 per hour Requirements and Qualifications: Ability to follow directions and company procedures Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to move around community; climbing stairs, push and pull, standing for extended periods of time, move equipment, appliances and other routine duties.
