Overview: Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

RN Clinical Coordinators may be eligible for a relocation bonus up to $8,000.

The Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Francis Medical Center, contains 46 private rooms that can care for 52 babies, as early as 23 weeks old. Our department has two couplet rooms in the NICU where qualifying moms and late-preterm babies can be admitted together for their care. We care for neonates and infants up to 44 weeks of age and we do not get any overflow patients.

As the Unit RN Clinical Coordinator you will :
  • Actively support department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit including shift charge, department and/or service line.
  • Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards.
  • Act as liaison between physicians and patient care team.
  • Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
  • Supervise the staff; authorize work procedures and assign duties.
  • Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Be personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Experience Requirements
  • 1-year clinical RN Experience
Education Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • BSN, strongly preferred
Licensure Requirements
  • RN License to practice in Colorado, required
  • Nursing Specialty Certification related to the specialty is strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

It also serves as southern Colorado's home base for the Flight For Life Colorado air medical transport service. Pay Range: $32.36 - $61.19 / hour

Shift: Nights

Our nurses are the heartbeat of our ministry, providing compassionate care across our Mountain Region. Ensuring that these valued team members are compensated competitively is vital to the communities we serve. We are pleased to announce we will invest $20.4 million to adjust the base pay for our RNs, RN Clinical Coordinators and RN Program Coordinators/Managers.

We re here to support you so you can focus on supporting your patients. When you join our RN community in Colorado Spring, Lakewood, and Westminster you will receive a $20,000 signing bonus. All eligible RN positions will have the $20,000 sign-on bonus listed on the job description.
